The Gregg County Sheriff’s Office partners with the Longview Police Department and the Kilgore Police Department to operate the Longview SWAT Team. The SWAT Team responds to requests that include barricade - hostage and/or suicide situations, as well as the service of high risk warrants. The SWAT Team has access to a Lenco Bearcat and MRAP (armored vehicles) and a Matilda Tactical Robot
