The Gregg County Airport Public Safety Division is directed by Lieutenant Amanda Taylor. Airport Public Safety is responsible for the safety of the thousands of visitors to the East Texas Regional Airport each year. Airport Public Safety Division Deputies area trained in multiple disciplines including police, fire, emergency medical services and aircraft crash rescue.

Sheriff’s staff in cooperation with Transportation Safety Administration and the federal Aviation Administration strives to provide a safe environment for thousands of travelers that pass through the East Texas Regional Airport.
