Assistant Chief Deputy Mark Moore serves as the Emergency Management Coordinator for Gregg County.  Gregg County and the City of Longview maintain a state of the art Joint Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to direct county wide response to major emergency situations.

The Gregg County Sheriff’s Office utilizes a Joint Gregg County/City of Longview Mobile Command Post based on the specific needs of the incident response. The Joint Mobile Command Post is a completely self contained emergency response vehicle.  This vehicle is equipped with state of the art technology necessary to communicate, dispatch and respond to emergency situations.
